Advice on road safety has been given to children in a bid to help them stay safe on the roads as the dark nights approach.  Elwood and Brown Funeral Home in Dunmurry has teamed up with national road safety charity Brake to encourage schools to help keep children aware about road safety, in particular, when Bristish Summer Time ends at the end of October.

Elwood and Brown donated 250 high visibilty badges to pupils at Finaghy Primary School.

"We are helping raise awareness of the importance of being visible on the road during dark nights.  With the clocks going back, darker mornings and evenings mean that children need to take extra care on their journeys to and from school."  said Barbara Kenwell from Elwood and Brown Funeral Home. "We are delighted to be supporting this initiative by Elwood and Brown which emphasisies the importance of road safety to our pupils", said Elaine Boomer from Finaghy Primary.
