A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Santa Dash in December, raising almost £5000. A cheque was presented to NSPCC in assembly and the remaining amount has gone to PTA funds. Once again, we are amazed by the generosity of Finaghy PS pupils, family and friends.
Our good friends 1st Old Boy’s Silver Band and Youth Band joined us at the Lagan Island Hall in Lisburn on Thursday 5th June for our Summer Concert. Our choir, strings, drums and band all gave amazing performances to an audience of around 300 people
P1-P3 put on a great show on 12 and 13 December. Check gallery for images
Sunflower seeds planted in June grew to great heights. There was great controversy over the winner, but Mr Falls eventually declared Miss Manly’s class had the tallest one. The seeds from this year’s crop will be dried and stored, to planted again for next year’s competition.
All our new P1’s are settling in and greatly enjoying life at FPS. We very much look forward to watching them grow, develop and experience success. As you can see, they are already getting to know Mindy!
An amazing day of sport at the newly refurbished Mary Peter’s Track! Blessed with beautiful weather, pupils competed in track and field events, with parents enjoying outstanding views from the new stand. It was a day of intense competition, ice-creams, picnics and family fun! Congratulations to all pupils who competed, and thank you to all
